MP & Silva, a full service global sports media agency, has been appointed the exclusive media rights and sponsorship partner of the Colombian Baseball League and Serie Latinoamericana until 2022.
The long-term partnership signed with the Colombian Baseball League covers domestic and international media rights. The package includes three baseball properties: La Liga Colombiana de Béisbol Profesional (Winter League), La Liga de Verano de Béisbol Profesional de Colombia (Summer League) and La Serie Latinoamericana (national league winners from Colombia, Nicaragua, Panama and Mexico/Veracruz).
The agreement covers a minimum of 236 games per year (96 from the Colombian Winter League, 139 from the Summer League and 8 from Serie Latinoamericana). 2018 will debut the first edition of an expanded Serie Latinoamericana format, with representatives from Argentina, Chile and Curacao joining the current 4-team structure.
