Rojadirecta has taken another blow in the last few hours. The pirate sports broadcasts website was sentenced to immediately shut down all its domains by the Court of the Mercantile number 1 of A Coruña.
In addition, Puerto 80 Projects, responsible for the site, must compensate Movistar+ for offering the sports broadcasts with no permission.
The number to pay will be defined in a different procedure which will take place soon, according to El País.
"The cataloging and location in the corresponding sections of an index of contents was essential for the general public to access protected content inserted in pages that do not have free access and are reserved to subscribers," said the judge.
Igor Seoane, the site's founder, can still appeal the decision since it's not yet a firm sentence.
