Just a few days from the start of the Rio Olympics, Telemundo Deportes reveals its plans to cover the event like never before.
Starting August 3 with the female soccer tournament, two days before the opening ceremony, the company will offer over 270 hours of coverage on its digital platforms.
In total, the Hispanic giant is offering 100 hours more of digital coverage than in London 2012.
Telemundo Deportes' digital platforms and social networks will work alongside NBC Olympics' platforms, offering simultaneous broadcasts of the Olympic party, allowing users to follow every event, in Spanish, on their mobile devices.
"Our digital offer in Rio will go beyond the Olympic action. The Olympic experience will be the biggest in our history. Our digital content will connect organically with our programming on Telemundo and NBC Universo, and our audience will enjoy exclusive access to camera angles and content that's not available on television," said Eli Velázquez, EVP of Telemundo Deportes.
